Introduction
A new creative Research will not benefit the organization until it's in place in correct manner or being used.
Managers are often frustrated because employees may seem to resist change for no apparent reason. To effectively implement change it's important to be aware of the reasons people resist change and to use techniques that can help overcome resistance.
Before we get started we need to define The Term Change.
For the purposes of this course changes all about a transformation or modification. And resistance to change is one explanation for why implementing changes so difficult people resist change for several reasons.
Understanding these reasons it's a good start towards knowing how to bring about needed change in organizations.
Chapter 1 : Personality Conscience
People typically resist change because they believe it conflicts with their self interests a proposed change in job design structure or technology may increase employees workload
For example or cause a real or perceived loss of power prestige pay or benefits the fear of personal loss
Perhaps the biggest obstacle to organizational change many people do whatever they can do to avoid that loss.
